Verónica Canales studied Translating and Interpreting at Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. She has translated various authors from English into Spanish; among them, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Aleister Crowley, Saki or Doris Lessing.
Among her last works is Viaje sentimental por Francia e Italia by Laurence Sterne. She has also cotranslated from Chinese La muñeca de Pekín by Chun Sue. Nowadays she works both as a free-lancer and as a member of Anuvela® translators collective.
